• Private Barge Cruise Along the Canal de Bourgogne for Four 
• Description: Cruise along the Canal de Bourgogne for four from Sunday, August 16 - Saturday, August 22, 2026. The air-conditioned barge "Rendez-Vous" carries just four lucky guests in luxurious style and cruises in pristine countryside along a petite and antique manmade canal in Southern Burgundy region of France. The experienced, yet unobtrusive crew of four tends to every need and includes a Captain, Chef, Tour Guide, and Hostess who expertly and professionally handles all arrangements, excursions, and meals. Your private party of four has exclusive use of the vessel that has two double occupancy 200 square foot cabins with king sized beds that can be made into two twin beds upon request. The barge cruise experience is designed to provide a comprehensive yet gentle immersion into the countryside culture through a series of enriching and hyperlocal excursions. Guests meet artisans, vintners, aristocracy, and prominent community members, and each day is something different to give you a thorough introduction to the historical, architectural and cultural highlights of Southern Burgundy. When not on the excursions, guests are lazing on the barge deck and admiring the pastoral and romantic countryside slowly glide by. During the cruise portion of each day, sip on a glass of locally produced wine or participate in the optional and gentle bicycle riding and walking along the canal.
